I got one of those wide angle rubber lense, trimmed it
a bit and stuck it in the rear. It does help
when backing up.

Sometimes the little passenger needs
eye contact with the driver. This mirror helps.

What kind of "baby mirror" is that? How does it attatch to the seat? I have one (the cheap ones from Target) and it's so flexible that you can't actually see anything in the mirror because it bends around the headrest.

We're taking a cross-country trip in march and were thinking about that mirror. Where did you get it? We're taking the Expedition though so I'm not sure how it will fit...

I also have the mirrors, and you are right, they are tremendously useful (also for the toddler to see you)
I got one in Target (Eddie Bauer) and the other one in Babies-R-Us (Fisher Price). Both have adjustable straps to hold into the headrest. Easy to install, but you gotta play around with the headrest height and angle so you see the little face at all times.

Question, Where did you get the rubber lense? Last time I saw it was about 10 years ago in a VW bus. That is very clever (and inexpensive too)
Thanks

Somewhere in the 'rear view mirror sections' where they have different mirrors. It's actually a larger flexible piece originally for 'minivan/van' that they slap on the rear windshield. I cut mine into a smaller size.
Same thing with the baby mirror: (not sure if the following link works)

Thanx. I started finding some options. It seems to be a hot RVing item ;). I'll do further research plus stop by at the AutoZone one of these days...

Yeah, I got mine years ago from an online RV store. Had it from year one on our Odyssey in 2001 and moved it into the Mazda.Works good. Inexpensive version if you can't afford a back-up camera system. :)
