Yea I know dood, I have one... If you read the article they said said it was some new designs debuting at the Tokyo auto show earlier this month.. if it happened or not I dont know.. but that 3 looks pretty bad ass..

It means Mazdaspeed got to prepare the 6/3/2 for an autoshow. Either they had nothing better to do or it's a trial balloon just like the "AWD" MS3 prepared by DG with Mazda NA help.

They call it the Demio in the fatherland. Put a turbo 2 liter in that lightweight 4-door, make it AWD, and bring it over here, please. I also like the treatment given the MX-5 here:

There has been all sorts of speculation the 2 is coming to the US. Or that it may come to the US as a Ford Fiesta.

Japan has not decided as to whether or not they will release the mazda 2 or demio here in the states. Something tells me that it would hurt 3 sales. I predict when the 3 goes a little more upmarket next year or later this year the 2 may follow a year or so later.
