ive got a 1989 mazda rx-7 2nd gen. My engine just basically turned off on me...does it make sense that i would need spark plug and wires to fix the problem???? -Thanks

could be a couple of things... disty, alternator, plugs, wires, apex seals.... the list goes on... can umake a vid and post it up??? make the list shorten alot more... or atleast explain what happened or happens when it just shuts off...

well im not 100% sure...this guy was selling his rx-7 for $800 cuz he needs to get rid of it...and he said one time the car wouldnt start, so he changed the spark plugs and wires and it was fine again....so im j/w if that makes sense....thanks man

The only thing that makes sense to me would be if it got flooded, and he replaced the plugs to get it started again?

i guess try it but id be afraid to buy the thing and it need an overhaul... rx7s arent just some cheap easy car to maintain...
