I don't think there's anything "entry level" about this list of cars.

I'm voting for the CTS-V, but, more than anything, I think it's just because I am really hoping it's as good as it looks on paper.

I was actually not sure what to class these as. I did not want to include the likes of the BMW M5, M6, Audi S6/RS6, E63 AMG, CL63/65, and others.

This was actually a hard choice being both fanboy of BMW and Nissan. I went with the Nissan R35 GT-R.
(confused) Ahhh...i cant make up my mind!

There's something about the R35 that piques my computer geek curiosity like no other car does, so I went with that.

I went with the benz! i love all things AMG! ....wonder why the tq is so low on the M models though...I would think they would have alot more than rated.

CLK for me.Followed closely by the IS-F.
I looked at the car as a whole..not just power...But looks, power, and potential for everyday driving fun.
Thats how I made my decision.

I thik having the GTR in there completely Makes a Bias pole..as there are a lot of people who drool on that car without ever giving the others a chance.....
I thinkthe GTR should be in a class of its own.

i'd say the GTR fits in with a corvette z06/zr1, viper, in that class. all of the other cars in the list are luxury performance cars instead of strictly performance cars. if you're shopping for a CTS-V or C63 you're probably not going to cross shop the GTR. the M3 coupe is the only one that might be cross shopped
and the GTR does have its fanboys, though they aren't totally unwarranted

The GTR is in this poll because its in the same price bracket as the others. Yes it has better performance and handling. The GTR is just as easy to drive as the rest of these luxury performance cars maybe even easier. From what I've been told the GTR has already been cross shopped with the a few of these cars. My Nissan dealer has told me that they've had BMW M3 and RS4 owners in acquiring about the GTR.
The RS4 Avant was not included in this poll because its a sportswagon.

i never understood the facination with GTRs other than we didn't have them here. I didn't want to like the GTR for that reason, but the more i read about it, the more I liked it for being an awesome work of mechanics, electronics, and magic. It has my respect. ~thumps chest with fist~

I find myself completely torn about all of them. There is no "one" car from this list that I like. There are tons of small things that I would combine to make a car from them.....
I would take the body of the GTR, the interior of the Caddy, the CF accents in the engine bay of the Audi, the rims from the M3 sedan and the tail lights of the M3 Coupe. I would probably keep the engine of the GTR in there as well. That would be a sick car. (sick in a good way, not like ebola virus sick, although, come to think of it, if I ever did own/drive a combo car like that, I'd probably be bleeding from every opening because of how high my blood pressure would rise in pure excitement and ecstasy)

i love how the C63, RS4, and GTR have exposed engine bays. They're not hiding under boring plastic covers.

Of the list only the IS-F and CTS-V actually has engine covers. The M3 has a large intake manifold over the individual throttle bodies, but the heads aren't covered by any type of cover.
