Sooo... I just finished installing my new bosch bypass valve and i'm thinking I might have done it backwords.... i'm not sure which way it goes!!!
http://www.hoppenmotorsport.com/bypass.htm is a picture of it.... Does the bottom outlet goto the hot pipe or does it goto the intake!??? I need to drive home tonight! I've got work in the morning!

it's the same design as the boostsciences BPV

the side port is where you put the turbo side and the port under the valve is where you put the intake side.

since the piston pulls up when it opens, it'S logical to see that the when in boost, it has to push the piston down on it's seals to make it seal right... the more boost you add the more pressure it puts on the seals..

it should work either way, just dont put a huge load on it. drive it home, then figure it out

The way you described is backwords actually, the piston should be in line with the pressure side. I discovered this yesterday... when i blew my hotpipe off by building up all kinds of boost pressure and not being able to release it, haha!
