Is there a way to use the aux in and the built in sirius with the stock hu in the msp. The sticky in this forum say you need some sort of Y adapter. Anyone know what this is? or if this can be done. I didn't think so until reading the sticky.

Thought I was pretty clear but I'll try to clarify.
I have the stock kenwood headunit w/ sirius.
I also want to be able to use an mp3 player with the aux input.
I didn't think it could be done b/c the sirius unit connects to the aux input of the hu.
From the sticky:
"I want Satelite Radio
Good news, you can easily connect a satelite radio tuner also. For Sirius, use the Sirius SIR-KEN1 adapter ($99 at crutchfield.com) and for XM, use the XM Direct Satellite Radio Pkg ($99 at crutchfield.com). If you want to use satelite radio and your MP3 player, you will need a Y-Adapter from Kenwood."

I have the P/N in one of my threads, I'll look.
EDIT:
Kenwood CA-C1AUX http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TmHjvDi...50&I=113CAC1AX (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-TmHjvDikWdg/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=227550&I=113CAC1AX)
This connects to the back of the stock Kenwood Deck, provides a line-input
I don't know how you can have two inputs.
