My MSP tranny is getting noisy so I want to drop an LSD in my old P5 tranny, put it in the car and then rebuild the MSP tranny. What are the parts/numbers needed to do the install in the P5 tranny?

And if you have Abs.....you wont need the speedo gear for an MSP application...If I am being informed right.

Yup. All stock diffs come with the ring, but since I have ABS I jsut dropped my LSD in and went.

Well..Thats one less part to buy...I learned the hard way...I bought two gears because I was told I needed them(no ones fault BTW) then I found out I had an ABS car which doesn't need them.....so they will just sit here.

my 2002 p5 has ABS but i still had to install a speedo gear as my trans had the speed sensor in it ... was this an 02.5 refresh thing to solely use ABS sensors?

Did you have jsut the gear or the sensor too? Even though mine was ABS equipped, it still had the pink gear. Just nothing attached to it.

Not totally true, 99/00 cars even with ABS use a gear driven speedo like the later non-abs cars. Not that it really matters you can't use the LSD in the F series transmissions anyway.

If it's a G-series transaxle I believe it will.
