I have been a die hard Honda enthusiast my whole life. I have owned 4 hondas (5 if you count my mower). FOr the last two years I have been a proud owner of an 05 honda civic si hatch (ep3).

I traded it in on a black Mazdaspeed 3 this past friday and feel kind of dirty for cheating on Honda. I love the Mazda but still feel a little weird. I was heavily involved in the Honda Forum (www.ephatch.com) and loved the friendly community there. Well here I am (nailbyt)

both cars look nice. personally I woudl take the 3 over the honda (no not becuase its a mazda) Only due to the fact that I can't stand small 2 door cars... small 4 door cars im ok with. I dont know why either.

Nice EP. My friend has one and it has made me a fan. I have always harbored ill-will towards them, but after him having his for awhile, I like them now. It helps too that I helped him stick a K20A2 and 6-spd in there...car should have came like that (still gets walked by the MSP though, lol).

yeah, after I made so many mods to my civic, my wife is not gonna go for any changes to my MSP, especially since it is brand new and she may drive it now and then. (she wouldn't even sit in my civic, she said it was too ghetto)

don't worry man, you made a strong move. i've had atleast one honda at any given time for the past 10 years, in fact the hatch i sold to get this i had for 9 years. i had an '04 si just like yours at one point and we still have an 07 si....

but it's got nothing on my ms3!

its a very solid piece!

hondas were really great, but they've become overly complicated and i guess it's a sign of the times but they just aren't what they used to be. the engine bays are like razor blades, maintenance and modification is a hassle, paint absolutely blows and they STILL have no tq no matter how big the engines get, how high the CR gets and how fancy vtec gets. i think the last honda to really represent what a honda is/should be was the 6th gen civics...that's why i kept my 97 hatch for so long.
