Welcome to the Forum!!

Lots of good information to be found around these parts.

What are your plans for the Beast?

man, i don't know yet! i'm used to driving slow toyotas (91 celica gt-s and a 92 4runner) and this thing is just INSANE compared to them. i've never really owned anything this fast before, and the closest thing i've driven is a 95 300zx TT, which is faster, but a totally different feeling machine. i still have the factory warranty, so i'm not sure what would void it and what wouldn't. not sure if i would have to get mazda stuff or not.

i've also seen people having the turbo seal problem after modifying the intake or exhaust, and i am kind of weary of doing that if it will hurt the car.

Welcome and congrats on your new purchase. I just got mine a week ago (2007 Sport), and am loving it. Although I haven't driven it for about a 4 days, because I am waiting for my all-season to show up.

I have owned a few fast cars in the past (last one was an Evo8), and have always modded the cars I have owned. But the MS6 is smooth and quiet, and I think I'm going to keep it that way (stock). Good luck with your mods and MS6 ownership!

What I've read is that when people mod their exhaust and remove a cat or 2 it makes the turbo seal problem more obvious because you can see the smoke more, the problem was just "hidden" by the stock exhaust.

Oh, and welcome!
