Hi there!
I have a 07 MS3 GT and like most of us I had the rear engine mount changed by the dealer.Since that I made some mods on my baby.(Injen CAI, Corksport CBE, TWM SS with alu. bushing, HKS BOV)My question is; with the increased HP should I be worried to strengthen more the rear engine mount? I am thinking to get something after market. What is your openion...let me know.Drive fast and safe.....

Off Topic but Nitrogen inflated tires hows does that work and what is the purpose?

Hows the mount feel? I am upgrading mine soon as im unsure also but i guess if you buy a mount you cant go wrong right.

It gives you a smoother drive and more stearing conroll.Plus dont have to check your tires every week.
I had no problem with the engine mount yet, I am just concened.

What rear mount did you have installed?

Nitrogen is 78% of regular air. Nitrogen is a larger molecule than oxygen and the other trace gases that make up the other 22%. The larger nitrogen molecule diffuses through the tire rubber more slowly than the other gases. If you inflate tires with nitrogen, they stay at your target inflation point longer. This is significant, but it is the only advantage.

I think he means he had the recalled motor mount replaced... if that is the case it wasn't the rear motor mount, so you would still have stock motor mounts all around.

On the rear motor mount, do a search there are all kinds of reviews on this forum.

Recall was on the driver's side transmission mount. I know, I watched the tech do the work. I trust no one when it comes to working on my car. If I can't watch, they don't get the work. I mean, what are they hiding?
