I just recently got my MS3 i've just ordered a HKS SRI and HKS BOV I'm looking for a good boost/vacuum guage that will match the stock speed and tach guages. Anybody have any guages that are functional and match the stock cluster? Thanks.

The Prosport gauges are pretty close. They also change lighting to match the amber look. Do a search for boost gauges and you will find a ton of information and installation options that is really helpful.

Where did you mount it and in what pod also?

Defi BF Amber is the closest match I have yet to see (though I have never seen the prosport in person) Check the How to section for my write-up

There is a company from Austraila that has a cool pod coming out for our cars here. http://www.mearcat.com.au/Pods/#Mazda3

I want to have a friend help me make a custom one.

Here are a couple of shots of mine. The Prosport and Defi electronic BG are pretty close. I think there is one extra wire on the Prosport if you want it to change colors.

Oh ok i see it comes with a pod-like cup thingy, i'm guessing it just clips or screws into steering column? That looks nice too, and a whole lot more affordable than the defi. Like about $220 dollars less. I'm definately gonna have to go with the Prosport

The cup is an add-on that you need to buy with the kit. I followed the instructions about mid-way down the page on the following thread:

But NOTE that I did some stuff a bit different. I modified the cup that holds the gauge and cut a couple of small holes in the small panel so that I could place the gauge lower and hide the mount. To do that, I also modified the cup. You just need to very carefully measure and have a clear plan before cutting anything. I'd read and re-read all of the threads on this stuff...
