hey all, i was just wondering if NC does emissions testing or not.

well, looks like i'll be doing some work to my car before i move up there. i know i wont pass the emissions part the way it is now. thanks fo rthe info.

I also think it depends on the county, too. The place that I go to in Wake County rarely actually does the sniffer test. and they have never popped the hood. so as long as your cel is off and you are not super loud, you may get by.

ok, both of my O2 sesors are bad. is that going to cause me to fail the test?

if the check engine light is off then no

yeah it's on, if it's not on though, they dont use the sniffer?

not anymore the plug it into your obd2 check engine light on is auto failure, and yes it does matter what county if u are moving to a county that has saftey only then your good
