Even with an advanced all-wheel-drive system, the Nissan GT-R must still be handle for some with its 480-horsepower twin-turbo 3.8L V6. Something like that must've been the case with the owner of this black GT-R, who has earned the distinctly displeasurable honor of being the first to crash a production Nissan GT-R. The location of the crash is unknown, though some forum goers have guessed Hong Kong. The circumstances surrounding the accident are also a mystery, though it's clear that the GT-R hit something almost head on and that its crumple zones do, in fact, work quite well. Hopefully we won't be posting about GT-Rs that bite the dust as often as we do Enzos, but clearly Nissan's new supercar needs to be respected by novice drivers.

Did this happen in Hong Kong?

Twin Turbo, AWD protege.........its what the MSP should have been in the 1st place. It will decimate all, including your precious S14(laugh)
And I'll set it up like the Tommy Kaira ZZII. Mid engine FTW

I do not know about a TT Protege. But an AWD one would have been hot. The GTR drivetrain in a Protege would be scary to drive.
I would just have to bring the big guns to humble you. hehe

Car has no plates on it, odd. Would the owner have taken it off in fear of embarassment?

damn they where filming for Harold and Kumar go to white castle Nismo style.
Sad to see this but hey, it's gonna happen. Plus it's not in the 110k price range so recking an Enzo and recking a Nissan doesn't compare I think.

something's that big enough won't have to back up fast to do a lot of damage, and the picture is shown with it hooked to the tow truck already and they probably had to remove the bumper to get it hooked up. I'm just saying this because the damage is so flush and square in the front.

Not an expert at all, but it seems that that car hit something head-on (at around 30-40MPH), just see the fenders, the airbag and the bumper frame, they are all f&%#d up (and the frame is all twisted)

Reminds me of that Bugatti Veyron crash video (or one of those super cars (scratch)), everybody has a bad day sooner or later, nobody is accident free (good or bad drivers). Yet on these 2 cases I have the feeling that the car is being initially bought by some rich show-off guy or gal who may not be very experienced with what is under the hood, or they may be experienced, but they are completely distracted showing-off the new toy (boom02)

You'd probably have to trade in a small car for that though, haha.
