View Full Version : Need help finding top panel dash kit

ive come across this dash kit which houses a standard headunit in the navi system location as pictured in the link, but i cannot for the life of me find anywhere where this is sold. any help would be much appreciated.

That panel combined with one of these http://www.trackdogracing.com/website/gauges/panels.htm (the top one with the angled holes) might be a great solution to mounting some gauges as well. Keep us informed of what you find out about that part.

for the head unit...now i have to make a decision...might get the gauge pots and maybe just put the headunit in place of the cig lighter area...wish i could find some install pics of that.

You can also get an insert to mount an aftermarket H/U in the location where the factory radio is. You end up with an extra cubby underneath the radio.

ya ive seen those just like every factory radio location, but the way the mazda is laid out i want to keep the stock HU for the look of it but am gonna bypass the audio from it because well im just too attached to my pioneer deck

actually after looking at it more closely ill prolly just end up replacing the stock HU in its factory location...seem the best option really its jut getting over the change in color scheme with having a blue headunit and red interior, course i had the same deal with my rsx, just that was a little easier to get over...
