Alrighty folks, I am the owner over an '03 Vivid yellow Pr5.

About 6+ months ago, I picked up a beautiful set of leather seats w/ yellow inserts off ebay for $100. Problem is, its just the rear set. Every now and then I do a search on the web to see if I can find a set of racing seats for the front that are tasteful, and would nicely fit my rides interior...without going overboard with yellow. My interior is stock, with the exception of gage rings. Down the road, I plan to dress up the interior with carbonfiber. Well anyhow...

Here is my top choice at the moment,
Option 1:

Universal RS Series Yellow Racing Seats (http://www.tuning411.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=1853&idproduct=3035) Pair goes for $279 w/ shipping

Option 2:

Summit Pro Touring Seats (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM%2DG1145&N=700+115&autoview=sku) Simulated leather with simulated carbon fiber inserts...price is $210 each** (pair w/ shipping ~$436)

Option 3:
http://www.shophyperformance.com/cart/images/items/yellow-black-pair-big.jpgHYPER-FORM YELLOW on BLACK - RACING SEATS (http://www.shophyperformance.com/cgi-bin/hp/001179.html) $299 (w/ shipping costs around $360)/PAIR SLIDERS INCLUDED

And just for comparisons sake, here is what my rear set looks like (not mine of course):

As stated earlier, option one is my top choice for the moment. The only drawback I see w/ the seats is the fact that the back of it seems to be all yellow. As for option 2, I drooled over that set the moment I layed my eyes on it, but its priced way too high. I think its perfect, and I know, there are a cheaper set of these w/o carbon fiber inserts, but if you like that style, vote for these also. As for option 3, they look very comfy :)

At the moment, I'm upset with the latest pair of parking lot disasters that has hit my ride, so in order to cheer me up for the new year, I want to brighten up the interior of my ride! I'm willing to take suggestions, please vote!

I voted other but will agree that if you pick any of the above, do option #3 in black. Here is my 'other' choice.

Other. All black or go home. Rarely have I seen color matching interior/exteriors work well. I personally don't even like carbon fibre trim either hence I'm in the process of painting all the trim pieces black. Somewhere doen the road I'll get some black cloth reclining racing seats (probably Brides) and then get the rear seats re-upolstered completely black to match. Hell, I'm even considering dying the headliner black and then painting everything else!

I'll join the rest and say go all black. If you are really set on going with yellow I would say go with option #1 because it has the least amount of yellow, making it look more like it has yellow highlights, rather than massive amounts of yellow like the others.

Definetely NOT the first set. $279/pair WITH shipping!?!?!?!? Those things would probably suck to sit in.

If I can only choose between the seats listed, I'll go with option 2.

The seat is one of the primarly things you directly interface with when you drive- having a cheap and crappy seat will piss you off in the end.

If you can have an option 4 i would at the minimum go with the Corbeau A4.
