Ive never been much of a super street reader for the fact of looking at enough S13's, Evo's and 350Z's to further add to the sad fact that i will probably never own one in the future but thats beside the facts...I got it as a stocking stuffer and i was just browsing through it and on Pg. 128 there is protege5...a tragic one at that..its got the FS-ZE jdm motor swap but a 2 tone paint job only a mother could love...check it out if you get a chance, JAN 08 issue

yeah im not a fan of superstreet.
im over of a Dsport person or SCC. and MotorTrend is also good as well.
i prefer technical articles than showy stuff

Pics!!
I'd have to scan the page itself...If you find yourself wandering by mag. rack pick it up and take a look..its quite amusing..sucks it had to be that P5 we get recognition for, should have been Brians or shane's P5
Alright. There was actually an article on Brian's P5 from a local shop's monthly issue in Montreal.

read that article. The info was outdated they must have interviewed him last year and then decided to publish it now.
Still a really sick car though. 300WHP if I remember correctly??

In my mind, there is no replacement for Grassroots Motorsports. Best car magazine ever.

Well, import tuner and super street are good if you are doing an engine swap or turbo install on your R34 or Silvia, other then that those magazines are utterly worthless to me, seeing as how i drive a protege5, its still cool to see the 9 second civics and and evos but nah...I like car and driver and sport compact car, as for mechanics, google and how-tos, no mag will really show you how to do much

Evo and 0-60 are my favorite. they arent Ad magazines, have the widest variety of cars, just
good all around

I love 0-60. I don't mind it being a quaterly mag since it feels like they put more effort into each article and photo than any other mag.

i get my SS monthly for like 4 years now! but for me i like looking at pics. I seen the readers ride pro5 with the 2 tone paint and dont believe he got that motor inside. I buy other mags also with cars i want to read about or some other stuff inside that makes it worth buying. I seen the featured clubs on Performance Mag about TOP.

Dsport always has articles on something car related, be it throttle bodies, suspension setups, head work.
its a good read. the only thing i dont like is the model section, but given the technical part of the mag, i can live with it

Yea that definitly was an awesome article. I just love the print and photo quality of 0-60. Most photos are out of the norm car mag photos. Very stylish. The articles and write-ups are top notch as well!

Just to let you guys know. The Feb'08 issue of Road & Track magazine has a small write up on their long term test of their Mazdaspeed3 and the Editor-at-Large mentions that he is "A PROUD OWNER OF A PROTEGE5" and that the Speed3 is a logical step up the evolutionary ladder...
When was the last time you heard of our beloved cars being mentioned in a major new car magazine?!

Actually, Corey Farley, an editor for Autoweek also owns a P5 & mentions it every now & again in his column.....

i was kidding to, and yes, i would love to see a msp with some gold rims, thats got to be one of the hottest combo's in automotive history.
as for mags, modified mag is good with variety and they show alot of products and how to, even if it is on how to install a H22. they do great testing on a wide variety of cars, and oh yea, the did feature pirana's sweet ass ride.

I recently picked up my 1st Dsport and I agree, they try to be a little more tech oriented.

Love to see P5s in print!
I also enjoy "Turbo" and "Project Car". Mazdasport Mag is a must. (cheers2)

Ricky Daddy is in ImportTuner at this point... (Check Jan Issue), as soon as I get home I'll scan the P5 that was on SS. White P5 with Red wave coming up half way all the way around the car...w/Bronze 18's (I'm at work now, but that 5 really burned my eyes)
