I have a 2007 M3 2.0 and when I had my oil changed today, that fuel was getting into my oil. Even after they changed it you could still smell the fuel in the oil, they said since the car is still under warranty with only 16k miles I need to get it to the dealership before something happens.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so what was the problem, any help would be great thanks.

I've seen it happen. But on a DISI motor.

It is a direct injection motor. Your motor is a standard Fuel injection system. Fuel in the oil means that the fuel is getting past the rings so the rings are not sealing well. Hard break in is supposed to make the rings seal better but you cannot do this because it needs to be done within the first 15miles on the engine. They might have to rebuid the engine to fix this problem if they do check this out http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

Your oil will generally smell like fuel if you make a lot of short trips.
