Hello all, i own a 1993 protege and it failed emissions test a few days ago.
It failed due to high NO on the driving part.
They gave me a list of things that it could be due to, one was malfunctioning cooling system. ( i had a piece of cardboard in front of the rad so it would warm up faster during this winter.) i took that out, because it was practically over heating when they were done the test.
Other thing i wanted to do was back off the timing a few degree. as they said it could also be from timing being to far advanced.
So long story short, is do our cars have them, and if so where is it located?
I have looked for a while, and could not see it, I'm used to seeing them on my other cars, and just wondering if it looks different than the others.
Thanks, and happy holidays.
