my new auto exe grill

Just got my new grill, I painted it this weekend, and just installed it this afternoon. The paint color is a bit off, I don’t really think the guys at the paint mixed it properly, it’s a bit too blue to match the liquid platinum. Its hard to tell from these pics because my brother in law borrowed my cam this weekend and I was left to take pics with my blackberry…


Ill post better pics as soon as I get the cam back.

Please let me know what you guys think

This grill is temporary because I will be getting the “empty grill” eventually, so if you like this one it will be for sale shortly…

looks good..my suggestion with the paint issue would be to spray a white base coat over the carbon fiber first to get rid of the darker tint then spray the silver and the clear coat it looks like the paint is a perfect match but the dark black of the carbon fiber is showing through the silver and making it a different shade.

with the advice of a local garage i sprayed a white primer before painting...

nonono it wasn’t CF sorry its fiber glass, I may have mislead you guys by accident its the auto exe grill that’s on eBay. It’s made by nextmod...

Sorry for the confusion.

just to clear some stuff up. i started a thread collecting members whom would be interested in the "empty grill". After getting the desired amount of people to get the group deal, the fabricator backed out because he didn’t want to become a sponsor. I decided to buy the regular aftermarket grill and see if I can have it customized locally. As soon as I got it, I was approached by another member who may be able to have them produced….


Long story short im gonna sport this until the empty grill is out.
