did a little datalogging today with my 07 ms6 and dashhawk..
Car is stock except for a Turboxs racepipe and recall 4907h flash (latest flash)

Does this seem normal to everyone? looks like I initially spike to 14.5-16psi then quickly taper down to 8-10psi.. boost starts it's drop right at 4500rpm..
It's too bad I didn't have any datalogs prior to the flash to compare if boost was now being handled diffrently by the ecu .. I belive the internal wastegate on our turbos can flow well enough to control boost at 14psi without excessive spiking and creep, so the fact that I'm seeing boost spike to 15psi and dropping to 10 consistantly would lead me to belive that the ecu is doing this on purpose..
I'm now more tempted then ever to install a simple manual boost controller and take boost control away from the ecu all together.. Anyone object to this idea?

The boost is fine. The ECU is programmed to start to close the throttle at higher RPM's.

As far as a MBC? The MBC may help you keep the boost at 15 longer, but eventually, the throttle will close enough to start to taper the boost down. If the throttle closes, less air entering the engine, less air to spin the tubine, thus less boost.
