Hi,
Ok, endless good karma to the speedster who can identify the wheels on the red MS3 linked below.

However, failing that, does anyone know of any wheels that will fit an MS3 that look approximately like either the wheels on the red car or the black ones, also linked below?

Thanks for any help.

Those are Ford Focus SVT wheels, well the one not on the MS3

yeah, i knew the black ones were ford svt wheels, but i was thinking there a design similar to those (15 spoke, black, etc) that would be appropriate for the ms3.
ideally, i would just find the ones on the red MS3 in the pic, but it's hard to track them down. there's a pair of 'Work' brand wheels that are very close, but not quite the same. hmmm.

I think those were available on the Euro edition of the SVT and the ST model. The 02s where more like a 5 star where as the 04s were of a pattern of 6 spoke and a pain in the ass to clean. Definately a pain to clean those monsters, goodluck!

Contact Garage Vary. They may tell you.....

The ones on the car look like OZ's to me.......one of the Ultrallegra series maybe. I would have to agree that the ones off of the car are the SVT wheels. I wonder if the ones on the car would look good on silver because they look SWEET on that red one.

I personally think a machined finish looks best on silver. Painted looks to plain and chrome is too much for that color.

I was thinking OZ Superturismo GT, but they've got 16 spokes instead of the 15 on that MS3. Good luck with your search.

yeah it's really been tough to find these wheels. i've looked everywhere i can think of. hmm. the oz wheels are close, but, not quite the same.

These are Kei Racing Pulse wheels. The hole pattern on the inside of the rims doesn't look exactly the same, but these will get you the same look with the hyper black.

hmm, those kei rims are close. and they are pretty cool, but i'm still set on the rims from the Valiant car. I've emailed Garage Vary but, unsurprisingly, no response.

it's a combination of that titanium colour and the flat, unbowed spokes i think looks so cool here. hmm.

on the other hand, i am getting tired of searching!

Yeah....Last I checked..Bridgestone doent make rims..only rubber?
They may name them ..but they didnt make them...and the site you listed doesnt show anything with a Bridgestone wheel....?

Here are a couple of similar ones. I have ordered a set of the borbets for my snow tires.

stemple
12-27-2007, 11:27 PM
hmm. borbet's look cool. checking them out now.

and yes, they're bridgestones. if you follow the link on page 1, it's the bridgestone japan site, etc. they are, however, almost impossible to source. oh well.

ForceFed

They May "BE" Bridgestones...but I can gaurantee you Bridgestone didn't make them..they simply have Rebadged them with their name.
I bet if you look around hard enough, you will find another Identical wheel with another Brand name on it.
Just some FYI for ya.

cool, hopefully the mystery manufacturer has better distribution agreements than bridgestone and i'll actually be able to buy some!

fwiw, the garage vary rims are not advans.

though from straight on the bridgestones look identical to the advans, from the side there are clear differences, particularly the curved or bowed spokes of the coinnosseurs and the deeper bolt area.

now, the advans are, it goes without saying, pretty damn hot, but they are also wicked expensive.

check the pics for differences.

i don't know which ones you mean look like 19s.

however, that said, the bridgestones do come in 19s, so they very well could be 19s on the garage vary car.

oh sorry, i was referring to the first picture in this thread. the tires look so low profile but it still fills out the wheel well.

yup, those audi titanium rims light me up something fierce. they would look super good-good on a black mica, imho. (or, we shall soon see, if i can find rims such as those that will fit the car. on that note, anyone got ideas?)
