check engine light?

I got a protege 1.6L LX '00 and I took it to the workshop 'cause my MAf sensor was giving some problems, after that, my check engine light has never turned on again, even when the key is at the ON position....
what can I do?
Do you think they supressed my check engine light?
I hve tested the bulb and it's fine...

yeah they musta fucked you man...thats not good. could probably file a case on them or something.
