Security light always on?

Hey, I tried searching and couldn't find anything, but my security light on the dash is always on. Even when the system is deactivated (i.e. when driving) the light still glows dimly.

This is my second MSP, and the first didn't do that.
Has anyone heard of this before?

mine stays on also. if i disarm it it goes off, but it never blinks when i lock with the remote. ive tried all the tricks to 'reset' but nothing works

Old thread, but I think i have the answer, I had something simular. If i recall correctly the shock sensor sensitivity was too high, Adjust the sensitivy way down and see if that allows it to arm properly.

mine does this too. how do you turn the sensitivity down?

under the steering collum there is a little black box with a white knob sticking out of it i believe it has a Mazda sticker on it. its on the left hand side under the collum tho.
