Hey i ordered my SMIC awhile ago and just recently installed it on to my msp.
I am using the stock plastic intercooler piping and it seems like it is a little to big for the intercooler. tonight while i was driving to pipe leading to the turbo actually popped off from the intercooler. i was wonder if there was a solution to this problem. i did place the black rubber band from the stock intercooler onto the new one.

Try replacing the stock clamps with something better and stronger, then tighten the pipes more.

do you have a stock msp turbo kit installed? or are you installing it?
