Hey guys,

I have made the decision to take a step up in wagon world. I am ordering a 2008 Audi A4 Avant 2.0T first thing in the new year. All the information that I have gathered off this website was invaluable. It allowd me to build the car I wanted confidently. I will still be a lurker on the forum but I just wanted to say thanks!

Wow, your P5 looks great!

What suspension do you have it on, and what are those wheels?

Suspension is K-sport Coilovers, which actually might be up for sale in a little bit. And the wheels are Enkei RP03 in 17x7 +45mm Perfect fit for the car. They are pretty rare, I've never seen another car with them. Topped them off with McGard Black splinedrives, they were beautiful! Those I sold a while ago and bought some Enkei RPF1 which never made it on the car unfortunatly.

Thanks for the compliments

I love your car, I saw it in the rims thread and fell in love with how those rims look on it. Perfect stance and rims!

A Louie - they were sold a while ago already :(

yashart_mp3 - that is a B8 though is it not... I do not like the lines for the B8 avant, not that they have released any yet. We won't even get the sedan here till Fall. I am getting a B7

The B7 is still a great choice. I almost bought one until I saw the interior of the B8. It has cues from the A6 interior, and is absolutely gorgeous. So right now I am saving my pennies and waiting to place my order.

From the pic you posted above, it looks like it has an S-line package :) Again, good choice!

I had an A3 2.0T for a loaner. It was nice. My mom has an A4 avant quattro. I like it.

Yeah they are gorgeous!

It will be receiving a set of coilovers and chip after the initial break in period. I have to find a dealer that is mod friendly to try and keep the warranty intact. The great thing about the chipping software is they have stock modes with lockout so the dealers cant' tell.

Stock is 200hp and with a chip on 93 octane you are looking around 260hp / 300 ft/lb of torque. You lose quite a bit of power through the quattro system, so realistically areound 215hp to the wheels.

I am getting the Titainium package so there will be no chrome onthe exterior like the red one. I am pretty set on the Deep Sea Blue which is the wagon I posted. I think the combination would be amazing!

Thanks again for the comments

Good luck. You're picked a great car once again. Be sure to post some pictures when you get it.

Also interested in the coil overs possibly. I'll be waiting for them to go on sale.

I am open to offers to tell you the truth. I guess I should really start a proper for sale thread for them. I will hopefully be pulling them off the car any day now.

The last set sold for $650 +shipping so I would start there.

I could lower the car another like 2" with this setup!

I will make a proper FS thread.
