The answer is probably yes, but, do the AuxMod and iPod adapters plug into the same slot on the head unit? I ask because I'd like to have both the iPod connection and the standard 3.5 mm jack in case there's something else I'd like to run through the system.

Actually they do not. Auxmod plugs into your Cassette port on the bottom of the radio and the OEM iPod adaptor plugs to the back of the radio where the media/sat radio plug is...I am using both athe Auxmod for my iPod and have the OEM Sirius unit installed with no problems...BTW the OEM iPod unit sucks....

...you will see that the AudioLink iPod adapter sold at therpmstore comes with an 1/8" AUX input jack so you can use it for something other than your iPod.
