Black Rims on MS3 anyone?

Does anyone have black wheels on their mazdaspeed 3. Particularly anyone that has a cosmic blue one. I am just wondering if I should get some and wanted to know what they look like. If anyone could post some pics of their wheels that would be awesome.

In my opinion black wheels look good on any kind of car. Just my own personal opinion and think depending on what kind of wheels they are, they would look killer on the cosmic blue.

i dont have a CB but i do have black mica and i'm planning on ordering black wheels this weekend, i'll get pics up as soon as possible

I am thinking about buying these. I want to see them in person cause they dont look very black but i think they would still look pretty good. I might try to photoshop them onto a better picture one day.

Thats actually why I like them. The stock ones are pretty good looking for being stock. They just arent black.

Those TSW wheels will not fit unless you go with a 17x7 and in that case it is just a waste. The offset for the 18x8 is only 40 which would cause rubbing issues I believe. TSW makes most all of their wheels right out of the offset range we need for the MS3. Hope that info helps and will probably save you some headaches.

Thanks a ton. That will help. I have read that the stock weight is in the neighborhood of 24 lbs. does that sound about right too.

Yup wheels weigh 24lbs and tires weigh 24 lbs. 48lbs for the whole combo.

I got my winter wheels put on. Went with 17x7.5 Kazera black rims. From tire rack. I have a Cosmic Blue and will try to get some pics for you. I think they look great. My friends can't believe that it is my winter wheels.(omg)

Some of the road racers/hpde people like to use lighter color wheels vs darker because you can see if your rims cracked easier.

also when you take pics of your car tracking the lighter wheels take better pics per the photographers.

stock tires, no problems. I cant remember the offset of the wheels, I think theyre +52, but I'd have to check to be sure.

That said, I too have the CBM and am looking at black wheels. With cost and all this stuff going on in my life, I am now just looking to paint my wheels. I want them to be different though. I know, I know, sometimes being that bent fork doesn't equal a good thing.

I have attached three pics. Any thoughts on what looks the best? I am leaning towards the front wheels which just have a star pattern stick out.
