Mahhzda P5 Newbie!

Hey everyone! Not sure what to say, other than my story....Well it looks like after so many months of searching the paper, autotrader, cars.com and pounding the pavement I might have just found my P5...It's not perfect and it's not exactly what I wanted but I can't be picky at this point since I don't have a car!...It's an '02 Vivid Yellow P5 (autoshytbox), my wife laughes at me and says, "I would drive it, but it's yellow". Well F u i said lol, I like it!...And it's super clean and one owner. And i'm a big sucker for Mazda's so I said wtf why not. Still need to crunch some numbers and give the guy an offer but anyways, I wanted to come in here and say hello and join the P5 community!

What's funny about my story is that first off I was going to buy a Red '02.5 P5 but the tiny ass TB bolt fell off and started playing ping pong inside the engine (I think theres a TSB on this?)...Then I went for a silver '02.5 P5, well I had to fork so much into it there was no point, Timing Belt,Water pump, windshield,broken tailight...Soooo, now im on a yellow '02 P5. Honestly, I liked Red the best, but the vivid yellow is growing on me!! (2thumbs)

It took me a few days. I kept saying I didn't like yellow cars, but for some reason it really works on this one. I went back to the stealership figuring if it was still there then I was meant to have it. And there it was. I knew I had to take it home. Now, I don't know what I'd do without the Little Yellow Car. :)

I've driven a few autos, their OK...I wanted a 5spd so i can really run through the gears. But this is bascially going to be my DD but I still want to add a few things to it. Maybe mod it out and give it to my wife and buy me a P5 5spd mwwuahahahahaa. I've noticed theres a big debate over colors, esp yellow an silver, wtf happened, did a silver owner pee in a yellow owners hatch or something?? lol


Anyways, this thing is actually cleaner than hell, inside and out. Only badside (besides the auto) is a small crack in the windshield, easy fix tho.
