WOO WOOO boost gauge came in the mail today

plan for tonight is to go to home depot and see if I can find something to surround it in the AC vent. I'll be installing it this saturday. Shouldn't take too terribly long.

any last minute tips?

if you're looking for something to surround the gauge while its INside the ac vent, you could get a desk gromet from office depot/max, thats what a couple of the members did here; here's the link:

yeah it's a great idea. Actually, I saw it on a guys car here at work and loved it. then I got online and started researching it and found lots of people had the same idea. it's pretty neat. I'll have to check out office depot and home depot and see what I like better. thanks for the tip!

oh man I wish I had seen that post yesterday, I would have shown up.

so here is an update:
I took the vent out and I had something I was going to use as a surround, but it turned out that it fit around the gauge perfectly, but was too big for the vent. tonight, I'll be taking the vent AND the gauge to some places and seeing what fits. This is harder than I thought it was going to be. Glad I started a little early.

I'll definitely update tonight with some pictures now that I have found something that works well.

the rest of the install should go very smoothly. I'm just always overly concerned with stuff that shows in my car. I always want it to look better than alright.
