So ive had my p5 for about 2 years now..I must say, its been one memorable little machine, got in into a whole new plethura of cars..Got me out of the rice-tastic world of honda, and it opened up my eyes to what the true "spirit" of a car is...Because...You all have to admit...For being a slow ass mid-17 second car......There really is nothing better to explain how it does the insane things that it does...other than its spirit...

But, avast..Its time to move on, Ive been given a 1 time opportunity to trade it in and im going to take it. I want something...Different, But something with the same kind of spirit, I also have gotten a new respect for mazdas so staying with this fine company is a very great possiblity.

A few things ive been looking at are MS3's (although insurance is HIIIIGH).

I will more than likely get a used rx-8, Ive looked at evo's..Sti's....and dare i say it..I even looked at srt4's..

There all soo damn common though...Im not gonna lie.. Ive driven all of them and I totally loved the Evo, Itd be the only one of the 3 that I would get. But i really like the idea of a rotary...and most of all..the interior of the RX is by far the best.

But heres why i posted this thread, I want YOUR suggestions. I want to know what kinda cars YOU guys have traded yours in for..And remember, I dont have a lump sum of cash to go out and by a car for cash, It has to be something from a stealership.

evo...might be common, might not be the best interior, but then when all your friends say, "hey it's common with a lame interior" you get to say"yeah, well i just beat you by about 40 car lengths!"

May want to get some quotes from your insurance company first. You may decide to keep the family wagon! Then throw a few goodies at her!

I never will give up mine, but if I had no choice it would be a Speed3.
Good Luck!

Wouldn't that trade-in only be good at the stealership offering it? Or, is it one that sells nearly every car company known? Like Wallace here in South FL? What reason would you be selling for?

One other question, is the P5 paid off? If not, what would the car payment jump per month? And, of course, quote some insurance rates on all the cars you're considering. If I had to choose one, I'd go with the Evo as well, but, as for me and my P5, I'm saving my $5000 for the full HiBoost kit and afew extra goodies to go with it.

P5-T's are better but MP3-T will work too!

Ok, somewhat of a change of plan. I have someone taking over payments, so ill be financing a used car.

And yes, its a sport-at w/ intake....sad sad day for me when i got beat by a yaris...

My newest and most promising prospect, is an 04 Red GT-package RX-8 for $13.5k

Only thing is its got 60k miles on it...hmm...Also found an evo for $20k..but i would like an affordable car payment.

Just so you know RX-8'S aren't fast in a straight line either.

But they are fast non the less, they have a sucky 2nd gear. Im planing to buy a 8 but will be keeping the mp5 as a 3rd car. Well thats 1 yr from now.
