I'm going to be buying a digital Vac/Boost gauge for my MSP, but I am not sure which one I like the best. Here's the situation. I'm building a Leadfoot style gauge bezel surrounding the stock gauge cluster. I already have an Autometer UltraLite A/F guage (which I have working as WBO2 gauge). So, I either get the AutoMeter UL digital boost gauge, or two new gauges. Let me know what you think of the following:

AEM tru-boost....EBC and nice looking Boost gauge...paired with AEM WB02...most killer combo by far

I'd go with the Autometer. Keep it practical. Save some money for Directv!

Yeah, and also wicked expensive. I don't need a wideband gauge, because I have a conversion box that converts wideband signal into narrowband, so I can use any A/F gauge I want to (I already have the Zeitronix WBO2 sensor and box). I also can not run a boost controller because I run stock class in SCCA, plus I am completely stock, thus it's not really wise for me to up the boost.

I can get the two Cyberdyne gauges for the same price as the single Autometer Vac/Boost gauge. If it's under $150 total it doesn't matter to me, because I have birthday money to squander :) .

If that is the case I would go with the autometer.

Of the three, the Autometer looks the best; especially if you already have another one from the same line. Does it have the option to display psi in tenths?

IHMO though, I always prefered non-digital gauges. If you are getting momentary boost spikes (or any other time that the boost level is moving), it can be hard to tell what the exact number is with a digital read-out. Those autometers are sweet though!

Any particular reason? One thing I like about the Cyberdyne gauges is the show tenths of pounds for boost pressure.

Shoot, add another gauge to the list, this one might take the cake because it does the two monitoring items I want, in a single gauge.

Zeitronix ZR-2 (http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/ZR-2/ZR-2.htm), added to list, can't add to poll :(

it looks the best and would match your other autometer a/f gauge. Ive never heard of the other brand so I personally wouldnt mess with them. Autometer has always worked well for me.

I'm actually really considering the Zeitronix unit now, just waiting for an email from them with more information. It works directly off of the WBO2 box and pretty much in the same fashion as the new PLX gauges they just released. I would just need to get a MAP sensor and EGT probe, then I'd have four gauges in one: EGT, A/F, Boost, Lambda. I also think the gauge can display two things at once, like Boost in the middle with A/F around the outside.
