As you can see, I relocated my MAF. Also, I kept the same by-pass valve setup as stock, although it's with a HKS ssqv.

Here's the problem. After installing all this stuff, I noticed my turkey being unusually loud! I though this was because all the stuff being better air flow and the HKS ssqv being more powerfull then the stock BPV. But it's not!

I did a test to see if there is any air flowing through the HKS, and there is not! (all I did is pretty much take off the tube connecting the HKS to the Intake)

Also, I checked the my vacume system, and there is no leak!

All air is free! No, clogs or anything...

Even if I put the stock BPV back on, it still would not "blow off."

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM¿! (hand)

somethigs wrong with your ssqv if its not opening. what vacume source did you have it hooked to?

I have it "Tee'd" just as it was stock... I guess it's off the waste gate actuator?

But the HKS still moves. Spring and everything is fine... I tried to suck on the tube for it to move, but I can't suck that hard... (silly)

hmm i dont knwo theres something not right. do you have a boost gauge?

yep... acting normal... no leak. I get full boost, no overboost, and normal vacume.

You are correct! Something is not right... lol!

so youre saying that even the stock BPV didnt blow off?

and your vacuum lines are 100%?

so besides the wastegate and the HKS SSQV, are you running anything else off your vac. lines? (boost guage for instance).

if you are, I would try running a separate line for your wastegate and a separate line for the BOV.

also, as stupid as this sounds MAKE SURE you arent loose or disc. anywhere through the vac. lines... they may be 100% clog free, but not connected?

Did you consider running vac lines from the brake booster line via a block?

I have a vac block with 3 taps. One line goes to the afc, one to the bpv, and one to the bov. The line on top of the mani goes directly to the waste gate (no taps).

Almost positive that this will be the answer.

THIS JUST IN!!!

Well, I thought I had an exhaust manifold leak. But I guess it's an intake manifold leak...

<O:pI had the HKS just as the stock BPV.<O:p
And the boost gauge was on another source.<O:p
<O:p
I plugged my boost gauge up to the waste gate line...

Turns out, the vacuum and boost is all messed up on the "waste gate ~ (BOV) ~ intake manifold" line...

I guess I will need to fix this somehow...

Thats where I was going to next, I just didnt want to offer a solution to a problem he didnt have :p

Well I'm glad that you think you solved the problem. I still think that you should use independent vac sources for each valve.

Well, I just got a call back from mazda who has my car. They said it was an exhaust manifold leak.

Would that cause my vacuume to read incorrectly? The tube from the waste gate to the intake manifold? All the other vacuume sources seem to be fine...
