Manifold Leak/Crack

I have a friend with a msp that has a manifold leak. I haven't had a chance to take off the heat sheild and inspect it yet cause he lives 2hrs away. Do the MSP manifolds have problems with cracking? I have had 2 323GT's and anyone that has owned a GT/GTX will tell you that there's has had a crack at somepoint too. (hand) Anyone have a cracked msp manifold yet?

yeah mine is cracked right now but its just a hair line when I get the money to replace it i'm gonna get that thunder mani replacement I looked at the manifold and its really weak so i'm not really surprised it cracked

ya i do believe the manis are kinda weak...i think i have one too. in 2 place 1 on mani and 2nd on res

pretty common problem...you'll be able to tell right away when you get a chance to look at the underside of the heat shield.

I believe I have the same problem! but I have not been able to take the heat shield off yet!

Thanks for the input. I kinda figured that would be the case. SailinMSP pm me if you want to meet up sometime. I grew up in Gresham. I want to try and get a protege club goin out here. Unless I haven't found it nobody in portland dose anything out here except miatas.
