i was interested in doing a ram air mod on my mp3 and i was wondering if its worth it? whats the performance gain if any? are there any other mods needed to compinsate for the extra air? ive been searching around for a few days and havnt really come up with any info.

pretty much what i wanted to do was remove my driver side fog light and use it as a ram air induction port. if there are better ways please fill me in.

corksport.com sold something that would help air go into a cold air intake...you can remove the foglight, but you'll need to do some cutting behind it...there's sheetmetal blocking it.

Back when I had my SRI I thought about doing something similar. I was going to use an intake duct (find them at racer supply places) with some hose routed up to the filter. But I switched to a CAI.
You won't need to do anything to adjust for the additional air as there is already a mass air flow sensor in your intake.
