Hey, I was running up a merge ramp onto the highway at about 4500 rpm in fourth and all of a sudden, the blow off valve popped, I lost all power, and pulled over to the side of the road. By that time, the engine had died. CEL, oil, and battery lights are all on. I took a look, and there's no fluid leakage, tried starting it again and it'll turn over, I can keep it alive for a few seconds by revving it, but at constant throttle position the engine will die.

I'm almost certain it's a vacuum leak and that I popped a hose off somewhere, but I couldn't find it in the cold and the dark. Any second opinions? Any common culprits for hoses?

I left it by the side of the highway, I hope it doesn't get hit by some drunk tonight. So any MEC folks that see a black MSP on 70E right after RT32, that's me. Going to try and fix it tomorrow once it gets light.

Its likely a hose off or Cracked.
The lights are all on because your car stalled....Its just like turning the key on and not starting the car..They come on and stay that way until you start the car.

Check your Intercooler piping.

What do you mean by "blow-off valve popped"?

Damn, that sucks man :( I'll be passing by it in about 30 minutes too.

If you need a tow, I have a friend who services that area. Abbotts towing, 410-740-9299.

pipe cracked, popped off, vac source popped off, or something in that area...or maybe the bov went bad

5 e-peen points to those that thought intercooler piping. The cold pipe had popped off the throttle body, I just didn't see it last night. Five second fix.
