Hey all. I just picked up my Speed 6 on Saturday. Been researching these cars for about a year and a half now, finally got one. This clutch is going to take some getting used to. I've heard there's a TSB but my VIN # is higher than the numbers it said in the post I read. Love driving this car, taking off from a stop is going to take some practice though.

Don't worry, mate. I picked mine up about a week ago, without ever having driven a manual car. You'll get used to it quick if you drive every day.

The clutch is kinda sticky/tricky though. Anywho, Welcome to the Family.

Welcome. You didn't say what year your car is, I presume it's an '07 since you said it falls outside the clutch TSB numbers. There is a way to adjust the clutch pedal which helps with the feel tremendously. Basically you put the pedal closer to the floor and then adjust the actuating rod (don't worry, it will all end up within factory specs if done correctly). Can someone help direct him, I'm on a system right now that only has 35 kbps bandwidth divided between however many users are on at the time.

This (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123651965) should be the thread the guy above is talking about.

Before picking up my Speed6 2 weeks ago, I hadn't driven a stick in a LONG time. It already feels natural and I never want to go back to a slushbox. You'll love it. Congrats.
