i just replaced my old motor mounts with the awr 95d race mounts. in the process i had to remove my throttle body and my intake. After putting eveything back together and starting the car it will not maintain an idle. it dropps as low a 100 rmps and spikes up to about 3500 rpms and then will stall. i took everything back apart to make shure i had everything connected correctly and i dont see any bad hoses or faulty connections. i also cleaned my egr just incase, none of this seemed to fix the issue. i have never had a problem with the car prior to doing this, ide was stable at around 750 rpms and never sputtered, does anyone have an idea as to what could have caused this or what is causing it??

Idle air control or improper sealing? I'm going to guess it's the IAC though -I believe there are some threads that show how it can be cleaned.

you might just have a sensor unplugged. Do a sweep of your fuel and air plug-ins.

Did you make a good seal between the TB and the intake mani? When I installed the rear motor mount on my msp, some bits of the stock gasket were stuck to both mating surfaces, and did not allow the new gasket material to make a good seal. The result was a very uneven idle.
When the car is idling, listen for a hissing noise around the TB--you can use a funnel as a makeshift stethoscope.

yup, i got the same problem after my install, right after when i was driving home, it started to idle funny, doing the dropping and raising rpm's too...
i dont have a problems with it stalling tho...
i figure what happens is.... :
that the motor needs to move around a little and like to, and when it doesnt have the opportunity to do so (new urethane mounts), it doesnt like it? lol
im guessing that your mounts will loosen up a little eventually like mine did, and the idle problem will go away as your engine gets use to not being able to move around, mine barely does it anymore so i think it will go away...

It's possible that you had a small leak in your intake tract (likely at that IM-TB junction) and the computer was eventually able to compensate by adjusting the fuel trims, etc.
