Ok just wanted to know if anyone had a similar problem with their engines. I currently have about 55,000 miles on the car when the squeaking started to happen. Doesn't do it when it is cold but when it is warm it makes the sound between 2000rpm to about 2200rpm only when there is load on the crank. I thought it was the belts but they all check out. Yes I do my oil changes every 3000 miles as well. But it sounds like metal rubbing on metal, but after 2200rpms it disappears and runs fine. Again, the car itself runs fine but dunno what is making that noise....

i just did my motor mounts the other day with awr 95d's and now im getting the identical noise. the only thing i thought of was a pully or belt, i lubbed em up and it seems to have gone away, maybe a coincidence not really sure.

your squeek is probably because of your altenator. they seem to have a weak shaft and it warps causing the belt to squeek. I had to replace mine because of that.. well i let it go t'ill it finaly ceased and burned the belt off.

mine, 2...checked out by one local shop and he stated that most likely would be from accessories belt tensioning or fatigue...my MP3 occurred on low rpm at any gear but reverse...
