Most aftermarket stuff we have is for the 2.0 and larger. I am sure the 1.6 is an older mazda motor, but never one in a 3 body in the states.

the Mazda 3 in North America is only available in level 1 (2.3liter) and level 2 (2.0liter)

the engine you have, level 3 (1.6liter) is not offered here. I would have to do research to find out if that is a new 1.6liter or the older engine code from other models that MAY have parts available.

but may edtion it's a lower edtion of mazda 3 ):
