Anyone switch out the tranny and drive line/diff oil with Royal Purple synth gear oil? And if you did...any noticeable differences?

You can use Amsoil and get the same results. It works better than the factory fill, very noticeable in cold weather.

I have used RP in the tranny and rear of my 2004 GTO(SOLD) and thought it helped a bit but was mostly piece of mind
any of the good quality synthetics would be fine as it mostly comes down to choice
similar to oil for the engine, most every synthetic is great as long as you use the proper weight

I was going to but I was told that you don't feel much of a difference to use Redline instead for Tranny and Rear Diff. I use RP motor oil. I'd like to see where this thread goes.

Do you think its better off to leave that stuff factory sealed and untouched?

Just in case an issue comes up it cant be blamed on the fluid. Rear Dif's and Transmissions are $$$

after seeing what came out of the factory diff/trans fluids when i drained it out at 30k miles, I highly recommend changing your trans/diff fluid on a regular basis.
