Just got a box from Mazda...

About the size of a double CD Case, So I open it up and boom, theres a little bottle of touch up paint. The little things this company sends ya kicks ass. Ford and Hyundai never did anything like this for us on the new cars we've bought.

I am waiting on mine. I bought my car late July (31st) of this year. I need it mainly b/c there is a rock chip on the rear hatch (I assume from the transport truck) that needs addressing. How long ago did you buy your car?

That's pretty cool. It's probably would cost you $8-$11 dollars if you bought it from the dealer.

It's probably a good investment for Mazda too. The better their cars look, the more people will like them. They should offer you free car washes for life too!

I think I remember getting touch up paint for the wifes 3.. then again that'd have been 2 years ago? It'd be nice to get something like say....free tires for the life of your car regardless of where you take your car for maintenance!! But, eh oh well.

It can take a while. I received my box this past Sept, and I bought the car the year before...

Great, now I have two of these poorly matching paint bottles....mine came in a week ago.

Still, most car manufacturers don't give a crap enough to do this for you, so I think it is a nice touch. Too bad Silver isn't easy to touch up.

Well i bought my red speed3 back in October 2006 and never received some touch up paint. Does anyone know that its because i bought it in canada, or has somebody from canada received this perk? Also can anyone elaborate on who to contact to receive this perk?

So - anybody got the 'best' way to touch up those chips on my nose and hood? I have never been good at doing this and my poor 94 TBird has a couple spots where I 'scarred' her trying to touch up bad chips. :*(

Theres a product out there called Langka. You basically glob on the touch up paint then after giving it a day or two to dry you put some langka on a cloth and wrap it around a credit card or something flat and just rub the excess paint off. It fills the hole perfectly
