Traded in my Nissan 350Z for a P5 last weekend. Trying to make wise money decisions. Wanted to get a family car now so I didn't pay off the Z and then have to get a family car in a couple of years and waste all that money.
It's a big change, but the P5 is pretty fun and I will enjoy the extra money the deal will allow me to keep.

It is the silver color, has a manual transmission and leather interior that is in good shape considering it has 50,000 miles. I've already ordered lowering springs and I'm going to order an Infinity Basslink to put in the trunk.
I'm pretty surprised at the quality of the speakers. I'm not sure if they are stock or not, but they sound pretty good.

Welcome to the forums. Though the loss of power and sporting feel might sting a little, know that making wise financial choices will pay off big time for you in ther future and also that the P5 is a great car that you can't help but have fun driving.
Lots of info on here so get to posting!

Yup. gots 2 of em.
Got my wife the white one(auto) a year ago, and, sold my Jeep for my very own with a 5 speed. These little cars are great!! Sporty as all get out, and very pratical. Good on gas, obviously you've noticed it isn't the fastest thing on the road, but it'll handle corners with the best of em!
Now I've gotta get myself some Eibach pro's.

I went with the Megan Racing springs, I wanted a pretty high spring rate, and a pretty low drop...I know not many folks on the boards have them, but I thought I'd take a chance.
I already have the roof racks, thanks...but I could use info on where to buy accessories for the roof rack to put bikes up there. Thanks.

For accessories try http://www.onlinemazdaparts.com for OEM, Thule, Yakima and also ebay or craigslist for some good deals on the above mentioned.

I have a set unopened sitting in front of me for the very reason everyone agreed that I shouldnt run megan springs on stock struts...Talk to JoshP5 and he can break it down for you...the life of your struts will be short...You need tokico illuminas to dampen them...

That's cool, I am planning on doing the struts soon anyway, so it's no biggie...thanks for the info, and I'll get with JoshP5 about that.
