Stewart Warner boost gauge

Hey, I just purchased a Stewart Warner boost gauge the other day and the 5 on the gauge barely lights up...I mean barely. Is this normal? I bought it new from Summit.

which one did you buy, link plz.

i have the 0-15 psi stewart warner boost gauge adn i know the 0 barely lights up because that is were they put a screw through the face of the gauge to hold it together (1 screw at 12 and 6 oclock.)

I have the 2/16" silver face...full sweep (30Hg-25PSI) gauge. I sent it in for a new one. However, I figured that there must be a screw or something around there.
