View Full Version : Did the Epoxy around the shifter base void any warranty?

Title says it all, I'm taking it in today to have some work done and I plan on asking them to look at the shifter because it's being a little rough but if that voided the warranty I won't mention the shifter.

It won't void your warranty, but if they end up having to destroy the base to get into the shifter, they're gonna have to charge you the cost of the new parts to return it to stock, cosmetically. But the shifter itself should be warrantied.

Nothing voids a warranty. Parts however, may cause your warranty claim to be denied.
If they say anything about them, play stupid.
