Leaked: 2008 Mini Clubman S John Cooper Works

Thanks to Autoweek.nl, a few official pictures of the upcoming JCW edition Mini Clubman have hit the web. It looks just as one would expect, being a stretched version of the Cooper S JCW already on sale. Red brake calipers, carbon fiber mirror covers and hood scoop, along with special paint and body work, form an appearance package, and we expect performance to be boosted by a horsepower bump to over 210 ponies.

Looks wrong. Stretching the Cooper just threw the proportions all out of whack.

I like the clubman a lot. I'd buy one if they weren't so blasted expensive. Those minis have been doing an excellent job of holding their value, sadly.

Dual exhaust, dual rear wipers and dual rear door handles. Clean up the rear!!!! It would look like a Mini Range Rover.

On regular Minis, at least, you can opt to do the roof in the body color, so I'd imagine you could do the same thing here.
