Chris,

If your car didn't come with factory HIDs then you need to buy a full kit (Ballast, bulbs, mounting brackets / double sided tape)

There are a bunch of places you can look but personally I'd stay away from e-bay. The price point may be good but you'd be sacrificing warranty and customer service. Deal with a shop or one of the vendors on here - They've got some awesome deals.

I was looking through some sights and i noticed that there were many bulb types, whats the difference between them and which one should i get for my car? and i put the HIDs in place of the low beams right?

There are different bulb models (H4, h7, 9006, etc.) depending on your car. There are different "colours" (4300K, 6000K, 8000K, etc.) they represent the temperature value of the gas inside the bulb.

4300 - white
6000 - hint of blue
8000 - blue

For your car:
MAZDA 6 2007 Low beam: H1 High Beam:H1 Fog: H11
