Question for Tri-Point on motor break-in...

How do you suggest a proper motor break-in should be done?
MazdaSPEED6
2.3LMZR Turbo Motor 8:8:1 Compression
Arias forged pistons
Pauter forged rods
Stock forged crankshaft

Going to be hit with fairly high boost pressures. I just thought i'd ask you guys because you race mazda's. Thanks!

Hi Chris,

What we do is run it for 300-500 miles varying the RPM’s and load. We don’t use full throttle or high boost. In this process we increase the RPM range and load as the miles get higher. The only other thing that plays into this is fuel and timing. Make sure you have this right for the loads you use.
