Probably. The Sat radio plugs into the same place as the aux input. You can add a switch box (about $100) to get the aux back. Some members have hassled their dealer to get it installed for free.

not really the fires keeping them tied up. they just suck.

You can write MazdaUSA and complain about the Sat taking the Aux input and get a $150 certificate. I had to send 2 mails (one complaint and one response to their response) before I got mine.

The key is to get them on the false information on the Windows Sticker saying that your car is Sat Ready and has a Aux Input.
