Hey everybody, sold my 18's and went to 17's, sold the 17's to put some money on a credit card and now im rolling on stockers!! Anyways I just ordered new tires for my 16's and i planned on hacing my stockers powdercoated black, but after researching pricing on powdercoating i figured out i could just buy a cheaper set of 16's and spend about the same. Anyways I just want to see all Pro5's with 16's!!! I know about the search button, but i wanna see 16's Only!!
THANKS

I think 16" is a really good size for this car... maybe 17" looks a little better, but it's really a toss up between the two.

I don't know I can't read Japanese.
Everything on the inside of the rim is written in Japanese. I bought them used. They were a flat black and I painted them gloss black with blue mica (same black paint as the rest of the car and stripe).
I tried to get center caps for them. The center caps for the FN01R-C (US rim) would not fit. A call to 5-Zigen was made and I was informed that my rims were Jap un neese wace wims ( Japanese race rims)

But Japanese numbers = English numbers! :)
Guess 5Zigen doesn't print specs on race rims.

There is nothing on the inside of the rim that resembles anything I can read. Its all Japanese characters (letters/words??)
HEre are some pictures from the day I got them. first 2 are before they were painted and then the last one is painted.

With the offset (what ever it is) that I have my right rear rubs in hard corners. I can't go any wider.

^^^ That offset worries me. Even with a 6.5" wide wheel you're still going to be running a wider tire I assume: 205/50? IMO, I would only go for something +45 and higher.

I found some rims I'm interested in, they're 16x7, with a +42 off set, would these rub at all? I haven't lowered the car at all still at stock height. I would be putting 205/50/16 tires on them also.

205/50s on +42 is definitely a gray area. I'm running 205/50s on +40, I rolled the fenders, and I'm still rubbing. But my tires' section width is unusually large. More normal 205/50s might squeeze right in there. :)

so they would rub on the fender or on the fender lining? I just don't want them to be rubbing on the shocks.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree. I was originally going to try to go for the 5Zigens in 16x7 but the only offset I could find for that size was +42 which I think would be a little tight. I ended up seeing some Gram Lites 57c which look very similar but have an offset of +46. Couple those with some 225/45 rubber... mmm, can't wait. Need to save some money.
I'm so sick of these MSP wheels...

I want to pull the trigger on some Enkei RPF1's 16x7 +43mm for my P5 on Espelirs. Rishie's fitment guide doesn't make mention of 16's and I'm curious if 205/50/16's will fit. 215/45/16's? I'd really hate to roll the fenders :/

I have 16X7 rota's with an offset of 45 running 205/50/16. The drivers rear rubbed under load and had to roll that fender. I would say that enkei's will rub even more and possibly on other corners as well.

I was grabbing at straws since I'd read everywhere that +42mm were close and was hoping the +43mm would be just enough. I really like the thought of the 16's, but I guess I will just rock the 17x7.5 +48mm.
