i was wondering if anyone has tried out the forge bpv that protege garage carries, and if you have did it get rid of the turkey? or is the turkey actually compressor surge like i have read in a couple other threads. sorry if its a dumb question but i am just wondering

There are many that run the forge bpv. No it does not eliminate the turkey. Yes it is compressor surge.
if you're looking to buy one, carbonkid on this forum is local (Burnsville) and I know he has a brand new one still in original packaging that he is not using. send him a pm.

So this thing recirculates under normal driving and vents when driving hard? This thing is a dual piston correct?

no, it recirculates all the time. It's a direct replacement to the stock bpv.

I have the forge bpv installed on my msp. Along with a SRI. It sounds like a bov but much quieter. The sound is still noticeable, and spool time is quicker. If you want to check it out, hit up my e-mail msp2081@earthlink.net. I'm down in Bloomington, really to close to Full Blown Motorsports.
